Back Story: “We called her Bloody Mary, and she went to Hart School. She was in the 5th grade when she died. This is her story. Supposely, her name was Mary, but I’ve never heard her last name. She went to the top floor girl’s bathroom. While she was in her stall, someone stabbed her and escaped by jumping out the window. She managed to scream, and crawled out her stall, only to die. Teachers came out, and found Mary all bloody. Then she became all white and red, her uniform(our school had uniforms), became a white dress covered in blood. Her hands became claws and she killed everyone in the restroom execpt her crush and her 2 best friends. A year or two later, her crush went out with a girl Mary really hated, so she killed them both.”

Ritual: “1) Go to a bathroom or closet with a mirror.
2-5) You can do this in any order you want: flick the lights on and off 3 times, flush the toilet 3 times, turn the sink on and off 3 times, and say ‘Bloody Mary’- you guessed it- 3 times.

Rmember to light 1 or 2 candles, this effects your result.”

Result: “Depending on how many candles you lit,

1 Candle- Your face will be all scratched up, or if you really mad her mad, you’ll be dead.

2 Candles- Bloody Mary will pull you into her ‘world’. She will attempet to kill you. If you spray water on her, you will be okay- for now…”

Experience: “I lit 2 candles. I was 5, so I was very scared. Some 5th graders dared me to do this. I was pulled in her world. She told me her story, then said she was going to add me to her ‘family’ of those she killed. Those she killed become one of her, a ‘Bloody Mary Creature’ the 5th graders said. I sprayed water on her and she dissappered. She still haunts me, trying to kill me. ”

Back Story: “Our legend over here is about a girl named Mary. One day Mary dropped a knife on her mother’s toe. Her mother extremely mad took the knife of her bloody toe and killed Mary. She took Mary’s dead body and threw it in the ocean. How does this connect to mirrors? Well when she was thrown in the ocean there was a little peace of glass from a mirror on her.”

Ritual: “We don’t have specific ritual over here. We literaly have quite a few, but they’re pretty similar. Here’s one of them: You go into a dark room but not to dark. Here we go into our school bathroom when there’s a black out. Then we go in front of the mirror. We then spin around and say her name three times. After th third time we look in the mirror.”

Result: “There are a couple of things that are said to happen:
1. She will come out of the mirror and kill you with the knife that she had been killed with.
2. She will give you a warning in some way.(I can’t remember what the warning is.)
3. She will come and kill you a week later”

Back Story: “This one I got from my older sister, though they never mentioned any little kids. They always said that she was someone who had been executed unjustly, by decapitation if memory serves. They did mention Queen Mary of England, but as history shows, this was the folly of youth.”

Ritual: “You went into the bathroom, the more the better in my sister’s story, turned out the lights, shut the door, and faced the mirror. You then said “Bloody Mary” 3 times.”

Result: “At this point in time, Mary appears, with head still semi-attached. I remember my sister saying the decapitation was a failure, so a few tendons remain. Now, to you she appears to be in the mirror, and she naturally scares you, so you start to back away. Big mistake, you are only seeing her reflection, in reality she is behind you. At this point she grabs you and whoever comes into the bathroom next finds a your blood all over the place, no body though.”

Experience: “Tried it multiple times, always under the watchful supervision of my sister. I always ran before I said “bloody Mary” a third time. My sister claims she has seen it work, and that if you don’t back up you can flee the room before she nabs you. Ah, the folly of youth. ”

Other Comments From Jeremy: “I like this story, I have heard many renditions. I doubt most people who claim it works, sorry, I am very skeptical. In my home town, we also have a legend about an insane woman who lived with her her of goats for so long in the canyon that she started to kill anyone who went up there. They even say her ghost is still up there, that you can hear it running around laughing and making bleating noises. I have friends who swear they have heard her, so who knows, maybe a thousand years from know every canyon will have a resident goat lady.”

Back Story: “What I have heard is that Mary is this girl that got in a car accident and the doctor pronounced her dead. So her family buries her in a casket in front of her house. At about midnight Mary wakes up and finds a string tied to her pinky finger, and on the other end is a bell. She panics and starts pulling on the string and she is scratching the casket with her nails. The next morning her family wakes up and sees the bell on the ground. So they dig Mary up, and find all of her nails in the casket door, and she has blood all over her and on the casket. That is how the story of Bloody Mary came to be.(well as i have heard it)”

Ritual: “The Ritual is that if you go into the bathroom with one lit candle and close your eyes, and turn around saying Bloody Marry 3-100 times, she will appear and claw your eyes out until death, as she did to the casket until she died. When your done saying Bloody Marry 3-100 times look in the mirror and she will claw your eyes out.”

Result: “After you complete the Ritual then Bloody Mary will be there and claw your eyes out until death.”

Back Story: “From what I understand, the Bloody Mary legend has its roots from the Salem Witch Trials. A girl, named Mary, was accused of being a witch, and later burned at the stake. Her name was Mary Worth. Another understanding of mine is that Bloody Mary is none other then Elizabeth Bathory (1560-1614), a Romanian serial killer known for killing and abducting young girls and bathing in their blood (some beauty treatment). She thought this would make her look progressively younger in age.”

Ritual: “Stand in front of a mirror and say “Bloody Mary” three times while spinning in a circle.”

Result: “Bloody Mary is supposed to appear.”

Personal Note: She just appears? Then what? She doesn’t eat your brains or anything? Does she disappear? ‘Cause it would suck if she’s ALWAYS there after that and never goes away. then again, it might not. Bathing in all that blood for beauty, she might be pretty nice to look at. Yeah, what if other chicks saw you with her? They’d be all jealous! You’d be a rockstar!
