Back Story: “I was told the Bloody Mary I know is Queen Mary1. She was the daughter of the King of England, and half sister to Queen Elizabeth.”

Ritual: “You go into the bathroom, and turn out the lights and shut the door. Then you look into the mirror for 10 to 15 seconds. After that you close your eyes, and then turn in a complete circle 3x while chanting the words..” Bloody Mary”, also saying them 3x as you are turning.  At the end you stop face the mirror, and then open your eyes.”

Result: “After the ritual is complete Bloody Mary is supposed to come out of the mirror at you, maybe doing you harm. Or you may just see her staring back at you. I was told what happens to you depends on the purity of your heart, as to weither your hurt or not.”

Experience: “When I was about 5 or 6 yrs old at thanksgiving with our whole family there us kids were in the upstairs bathroom and one of my cousins said that we should try it. All of us chickened out, but one of my cousins. She closed the bathroom door and did the whole Bloody Mary thing. All that I know is all of the sudden she came flying out of the bathroom screaming her head off, the bathroom mirror was completely broken , and she then threw herself down the stairs. She was taken to the hospital and then to a mental facility for about 6 months to a year. I’m not claiming that is was because of the whole Bloody Mary thing but I don’t have anything else to explain it , and neither does anyone else in the family..”

Maybe people get so scared that their minds can’t handle the fear and that causes them to freak out. I don’t really know , and to tell you the truth don’t want to find out either.”

Back Story: “At my school, everyone has a different stories but this is the one that most people tell;
A young man called Thomas and woman named Mary had a fight over wether or not to have a baby. The man got so angry that he smashed her head into a mirror 3 times. Her face got deformed, and then slid down onto the floor to face her death.”

Ritual: “Go into a bathroom, turn off the lights, and turn on the taps, and look into the mirror. Say ‘Bloody Mary don’t  be lary. Bloody Mary come out now. Bloody Mary your not that scary. Bloody Mary untwist now’.”

Result: “Instead of your reflection, mary will appear, face deformed, but coming back to normal. In a few days while dreaming you will twist and twist intill your just a scrunched up ball.” 

Personal Note: That’s messed up, man.

Back Story: “Once there was a 17 years old girl named Mary. She had gotten a car from her parents. One night when she was out driving she lost control of her car and crashed into a tree. Her face had been destroyed in the crash, and she had fallen into a coma. After she had been in coma for a while, the doctor thought she was dead. Her mother could not stand the thought of loosing her, so she got her buried in her back yard. But still she would not believe that she was dead so she drew a thread from the coffin up to a bell over the ground. So if she’d wake up she could pull in the thread and her mother would hear the bell ringing. One night her mother woke up because she thought she heard the bell, but when she opened her eyes it turned silence. She thought she had been dreaming and got back to sleep. The morning after she went to get the newspaper, she got outside and noticed the bell had fallen off the stake. She quickly got help to dig up the grave. When they opened up the coffin they saw that she had scratched her fingernails off, they were attached to the top inside the coffin. She had scratch marks in her face and on her arms. Her white hair was soaked in blood, and her skin was as white as the snow where the blood hadn’t colored it. Her eyes were no longer blue, they were red. And there was a little path from her eyes down her face of bloody tears. She had bled to death. The day today she still goes around haunting mirrors looking for the doctor that told her mother she was dead.”

Ritual: “1) Go to a bathroom.

2)Light some candles, and turn on the water.

3)Turn of the light.

4)Close your eyes.

5)Say “Bloody Mary” when you face the mirror while spinning 3 times.

6)Stop while facing the mirror and open your eyes. ”

Result: “She will appear in the mirror and she will scratch out your eyes or kill you. The legend says that the last thing you’ll hear before you bleed to death from the damages she has caused on your face is; Now you look like me.
The reason she does this is because of her face.  She is embarrased to show her face. So she kills the ones that see’s it”

Other Comments From ‘Martine’: “This is the version I’ve heard. There is a possibility that i have managed to mix it with other stories… But this is the one i’ve heard, and you asked for our version of it.
I would strongly recomend you to never try this, but still curiosity is hard to control.

Personal Note: Thank you Martine, I DEFINATELY enjoyed this one. I love a story about someones face getting destroyed, and then getting buried alive. It really makes my day.

Speaking of which, this one is believable to an extent. Back in the day, this kind of thing happened all the time, the buried alive thing. It was YEARS before cars were invented though, but still. That whole thing with the bell was a common thing done for those who were worried of being buried alive. Even George Washington had a ‘fail-safe’ set up,  just in case if it were to happen to him.

About your ritual… Dude, if I were to shut my eyes, and spin around like that in the bathroom, I’d fall over and crack my head open on the side of the toilet.

Back Story: “There has been clippings on many different point of views of how this “Bloody Marry Legend” has started. Soo many different possible ways that people have said to be what happens and what she’s about,what you have to say to summon her. This is probably as true as you’ll hear it, Coming from my own point of view. Giving the help of clippings I have read over a year ago. See obviously Marry was this woman, she was about the age of 24 or so, She was in an abusive relationship. One Sunday Morrning her partner got packed with abunch of anger, Marry got in his way and he hit her in the back of the head with a canlde holder. Leaving the back of her head wounded very badly. She lyed on the living room floor for a half an hour, her partner comes in the room and finishes her off with the candle holder. When Marry fell her body landed next to this antique mirror they had bought quite along time ago. While her body hit the floor the back of her head touched the mirror, leaving blood smeared on it. It’s very possible that Marry’s spirit got transfered into the antique mirror,something sounding paranormal and crazy but it IS very possible as well. [So it’s said that when you look into a mirror it reflects your soul]. Her family had her cremated, so she was never brutaly bashed to a pulp or nor was she barried. So it’s said that the legend of Bloody Marry runs through the mirrors.&.once you summen her it allows her to look into your soul, if she see’s your good to the people you love you won’t be haunted in any way you’ll just see her once.&.thats it,but if your not good to the ones you love and hurt them abusivly through touch or just words she’ll haunt you, where as everytime you see your reflection you’ll see her.”

Ritual: “In the clippings the way to summon her is to go into the bathroom, shut the lights off.&.have a lit white candle held underneath your chin. You have to look deeply into the mirror looking straight into your eyes.[Meaning when you do this your looking into your soul].anyways you do that you meditate on it for 5 minutes than take a deep breath in and as you blow out say “Bloody Marry” three times. After you have said that you blow the candle out.&.keep starring into your eyes for about 10 seconds.”

Result: “After you keep starring into your eyes for 10 seconds, you see her in your right eye, than you get a quick black shadow that goes behind your reflection in the mirror, you blink and it’s over. than you turn back on the lights and go as you were.”

Other Comments From x.Jessiie.x: “Just another thing..[.Marry does not kill you,that part I believe is the myth part. she was a gentle woman if you read the clippings, harming some teenager or adult would be like her murdering an innocent baby, she wouldn’t do that, that.. The media turned it into some big thing,for screams,just like they turned the little boy getting possessed into a demonic girl with powers,taking the story a little too far for kicks.].But I mean people believe what they want.”

Back Story: “My legend is that there once lived a woman named Mary Worth and she was shortly burned to death in an oven after her children were taken from her.”

Ritual: “We have to chant BLOODY MARY 13 times.”

Result: “She is supposed to jump out of a darkened mirror in a darkened room, tear your eyes out, eat you to death and then stab you to make sure your DEAD!”

Experience: “Sadly I have not seen Bloody Mary but I am looking forward to completing the ritual.” (Um… You’re looking forward to having her jump out of a darkened mirror in a darkened room, tear your eyes out, eat you to death and then stab you to make sure your DEAD?… Well, good luck with that. Let us know when it happens.)
