Pocatello, Idaho

City: Pocatello (Ashley from Pocatello said that I’m silly for not knowing where Pocatello is. Granted, I AM silly, but that’s not the reason.)

Back Story: Mary was Wiccan. The Mormons tortured her in an attempt to make her give up her beliefs, and confess to a string of murders. They ripped off her finger nails, raped her with a stick wrapped in barb wire, tied her to a chair with nails sticking out of it, and finally killed her with an iron maiden.

Ritual: Chanting her name. (No mention of a mirror in this submitted legend)

Result: Well, supposedly Mary is supposed to appear in the mirror.

Experience: “This didn’t happen to me, but it happened to my friends cousin. We were camping out and my friends cousin went into the camper bathroom. I could hear him chanting “Bloody Mary”. About a minute later, he came out screaming like a two year old after they canceled Barney.”

Thanks: Thanks To ‘Ashley’ from Pocatello, Idaho for submitting this legend.

Back Story: “She was the daughter of King Henry 8, a Tudor, and a princess. She became Queen and burned to death everyone of a different religion. She hated her sister, and imprisoned her. She got killed in a tower where rebels cut off her head. Then they locked her in the mirror.”

Ritual: “Go to the bathroom. Turn off lights and close door. Flush toilet. While toilet is flushing, spin around 3 times while saying her name 6 times.”

Result: “Yo´ll see her or her shadow in the mirror. in the mirror, a forest should show up. The trees should be all black with blood, and freaky shadows everywhere.”

Other Submitted Information: “I did dress up as her for Halloween, and then I failed Math.”

Thanks: Thanks To ‘Valeria Milesi’ from Miami, Florida for submitting this legend. I’m sorry you suck at math. :(

Back Story: “I heard that Mary was a lady who got in a fight with her husband, she drove away and got in a car accident. Destroying her face and covering her face with blood. She saw her reflection in the mirror afterward and got so mad she threw her brush at the mirror and shattered it. She died there.”

Ritual: “Go to a mirror at midnight, it must be dark. Spin three times and chant “Bloody Mary” all three times.”

Result: “She will appear in the mirror, and either write something in blood, scratch you, or rip your face off.”

Thanks: Thanks To ‘Kristina’ from Boynton Beach, Florida for submitting this legend.

Ritual: “Well really you have to have a knife, 3 mirrors and you need to be in complete darkness so you know that its not someone elses face just trying to scare you. You need to be able to have a voice so you can say her name 3 times. The knife is so she can come towards you.”

Result: “Bloody mary is supposed to come out of the mirror and scare the living crap out of you so you never mention anything about her again. Obviously it dosent always work.”

Experience: “I have seen it work becuase it happened to me my sister and my brother. We made a tent of complete and total darkness. So dark that you couldnt even tell where your own hand is. and you cant open the blankets cuase you would be able to tell if someone was to let light in. Later we had the knife and 3 mirorrs. When we said her name 3 times we saw her face in the mirror and the knife started to float around. later that night i couldnt even sleep. I dont really know what it was that came near the mirror but i know that there was no light and a face appeared in the mirror after the ritual and the knife started to fly around. Im not lying.”

Thanks: Thanks To ‘Chantelle Corser’ from Colorado Springs for submitting this legend. Get some sleep Chantelle. :)

San Bernardino, California

Back Story: The story says that she got drowned in the bathtub on the night of her school reunion because her children got taken away from her.

Ritual: Well first off, you go into the bathroom look straight into the mirror with the room dark as possible and say her name 3 to 13 times.

Result: She would appear, and just stare at you, or you will see her behind you by your left shoulder. To make her go away, you would have to turn the light back on, or throw water on the mirror.

Other Submitted Information: “i tried it and i was terrified i also said i have you baby bitch and she scratch my arm i even have the scar to prove it.”

Thanks: Thanks To ‘Brian Arndt’ from San Bernardino, California for submitting this legend. When filling out his name on the form, he typed, “Brian Arndt duh!!!!!” This leads me to believe that he thought that I was stupid for not knowing who he was.

Apology: I am sooooo sorry, Brian for asking the question about your name. I mean, I REALLY should have known that it was you all along. Actually, I know EVERYBODY on the other side of the country, and I can predict who is submitting a form at the exact moment it happens. I should have let on that I knew who you were. My bad. :(
